A Slower Weekend, Still Worth Getting Out
Indoor energy, fresh air, and a few dependable favorites
Hi parents,
It’s a slower weekend on the Peninsula. There aren’t a ton of big events on the calendar — but there are enough good reasons to get out of the house if you feel like it. Think solid, dependable ideas rather than a packed schedule.
And if staying in sounds better, that counts too. I’m planning a full day of crafting at home: some glue, colored paper, googly eyes, maybe a few feathers — enough materials to let your child run with their imagination while you sip something warm nearby. Pro tip: I cover our table with kraft paper. That way, if a small voice suggests coloring on the table… you know the drill.
Use this guide as a menu, not a plan.
